Located in the Shanghai-Yangtze Delta Region, this prosperous and well established International School offers a combined Australian/UK curriculum to its diverse student body, with a complete early years to high school program.
To facilitate educational management excellence at the school, an internationally experienced and well established Principal is required. This is a permanent position within a growing school, with a bright future in an exciting part of the world.
The successful applicant will report directly to and work closely with the school’s director, and will hold accountability for the academic outcomes of the schools programs, staff and student management, curriculum management financial management and facilitate the day to day running of the school, as well as the long term outcomes.
The successful applicant will meet these requirements;
A proven track record in educational leadership, including experience as the Head of an established quality international school.
Strong command of and previous experience in the implementation of a respected curriculum
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a highly capable team of teachers and support staff
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and qualities, in particular determination, perseverance and resilience.
Ability to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers.
Also desirable would be leadership experience in a Chinese school, as well as experience in fiscal responsibility, resourcing and staffing programmes to ensure smooth running of the
