I am a Canadian born, Italian Licensed Architect, graduate from the University of Florence, Italy with over 8 years of experience in architectural and interior offices in Italy, Canada, South Korea and China. My progressive roles encompass various phases of design, including: -Research & conceptual/schematic design, space planning, with some detail & design development, much of which on large and complex residential, commercial, retail, corporate and mixed use projects. -Assisted on the preparation of construction drawings, corresponded with contractors, suppliers, property developers, government agencies, with some onsite coordination for projects delivered on schedule and within budget. -Managing presentations, various client facing roles, actively participating in marketing and business development strategies. -Independently manage time and tasks effectively, yet in each workplace I have tried to foster collaboration and information exchange, sustainable workplace practices and enthusiasm in mentoring junior staff. -Some PRC exposure: 2010/11 worked in several Shenzhen offices participating in large scale mixed-use residential/resorts and office/commercial projects; 2003, with my Korean office, preliminary design and research regarding the master planning for the cities of Jinzhou and Qufu in their program to expand infrastructures; Qufu was later presented at the prestigious Venice Biennale 2004. -I consider challenges and advanced professional education development as the backbone of my work, and am considering a LEED accreditation in the near future.
